40th Earth Day Kick-Off Party / Greening of Ghent

The Ghent Business Association will celebrate the coming of spring to
Ghent with a weeklong “Greening of Ghent” celebration from April 16th to
April 25th. The celebration kicks off with a neighborhood party in the
20th Street parking lot between Dog-n-Burger and Fleet Printing on
Friday evening, April 16th.

Beginning the next day, Ghent retailers and service providers will
welcome spring with special sales and opportunities. Area restaurants
will offer pre-fixed meals at discounted prices. Many merchants will be
“going green” in honor of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day on April
22nd.

Ghent will be one more reason to play and shop close to home!
